Jim is a painter in Montgomery County, Maryland. He works primarily in oils, acrylics and water colors. His oil paintings have been accepted in juried shows, and he has competed successfully for art grants. His paintings have been purchased and are located in collections in 13 states. He is a member of the Gallery 209 located outside Washington, Dc in Rockville. He is a member of the Montgomery Artists Association and the Gaithersburg Fine Arts Association. He also serves on the Gaithersburg Cultural Arts Advisory Council. Jim’s ART career began about 20 years ago as he ended his career working at the National Science Foundation, and at the EPSCoR/IDeA Foundation.
